That’s the A’s current record with Conor Jackson on the team. Of course they are 0-1 in games he has started, but that’s not his fault.

Our Fifth Starters

During Spring Training, Trevor Cahill and Gio Gonzalez were in a battle for the A’s fifth starter spot.
Now that Justin Duchscherer is out for the season, Cahill has settled nicely into his spot at number four and now these two guys are pitching back-to-back.
Cahill pitched Thursday against the Angels and went a career-high eight innings. [...]

The A’s are such a roller coaster of a team.
Ten days ago they were just getting started on a five-game losing streak in which they scored only five runs. It was maddening; it was pathetic. Then the Mariners came to town and they kicked them around to the tune of 14 runs over two games. [...]

That is the great thing about baseball. You can be scuffling along, with little to no offensive output for nearly a week, and then BAM! Seven runs in three innings. 15 hits and 8 total runs in the game. From the Oakland A’s!
